Internal Tooth Washers

A locking washer with teeth or prongs which extend inward from the inside edge of the washer. This maintains essential tension and opposes any loosening influence on the fastener. The flexed teeth absorb shock, vibration and slipping.

The internal tooth washer is the preferred lock washer when finished appearance is critical and the teeth must be hidden under the head of the screw to avoid scratching or snagging. Also recommended for use with small heads screws (such as fillister).

Hi, I am looking for some internal tooth washers that will fit tight over a .0125″ rod. I think I would be a #4. I need them to be made out of 316 stainless steel

Hi thanks for contacting Fasteners Experts. The #4 internal tooth L/W in 316 stainless steel is available from stock. The ID for this size washer ranges between 0.115″ and 0.123″ so this would be a very tight fit. If you could let us know how may you need we would be happy to prepare a quote for you.
